Back at it. RIGHT NOW…the boyz are getting ready. Getting song lists together, sorting, figuring out what order to play them in, polishing up on new ones, putting all of the finishing touches on what the concert YOU will SOON SEE is gonna sound like! All I can tell ya…is it’s soundin’ GOOOOOD!!!

Yup…that’s right! I’m official.
Call me what you will…but, I’m dual. Can-American, Ameri-Canadian…I’m sure there’ll be all sorts of names I just wanted to share a pretty exciting day with y’all. And, I must say a special “thank you” to a fan who was especially sweet–sending flowers to celebrate in style.
Look out America!!!! (funny story…actually the day of my ceremony I was a tad excited and wasn’t a bit afraid to show it. The judge chuckled as he shook my hand and said I won the award for “most enthusiastic”!! …yaaaah think??)
For real? (you may be asking yourself…as I was)…
Oh yeah Baby!! Herb here is sportin’ what I like to call ol’ “Herb-Blockers”…these are the sunglasses of choice these days. And you may or may not know that Herbie changes eyewear frequently. These are big, bad and fit over any and every size of eyewear It’s all about functionality. Herbie’s been braggin on these glasses SO much lately…they fit over everything and wrap around the sides…etc etc He’s diggin em’! They are pretty big, but hey…whatever floats yer boat, right?
I especially cracked up the other day when Herbie misplaced them…I mean, come on…how can you misplace glasses THAT size?? Hah! Guess in this case they were easy to find maybe…

Interviews for A NIGHT WITH THE CHAPMANS!! Steven and Mary Beth each have their own schedule this time! Double the work, double the laughs, double the blessing!! I’m thinkin that this will probably be a ONE of a kind, ONE and ONLY tour! (she adds lovingly) Not sure you’ll see anything like it again.
Can you imagine?? The whole “Von-Chapman” family out on the road…on “a” bus…working…sleeping while traveling…working…did I mention on one bus all together???? (well, you get the picture) Not saying it can’t be done. And, I’m sure this will be an AMAZING night.
Stories you ask?….OH, will be there stories! (sigh)

Seriously…I’ve NEVER heard of or seen such. I’ve seen hundreds of deer out my office window over the years (yes, I have the greatest job EVER!) and, although I quite enjoy watching them saunter by from time to time…I’ve never seen one like this. Wow! I thought I saw a ghost or even some sorta goat at first!!! I had to quickly take a photo to share and then of course google to see if I had lost my ever lovin’ mind…
Just wanted to share a rare glimpse of my day! So…have YOU ever seen one???
Here IT is! Many of you have been wondering just what Stevey Joy’s newly transformed room looks like. And, although I’ve had these pictures for a while…today I remembered and took the time to blog it! (sorry for the delay)
As you can see…we had fun. From the verse on the wall (with Stevey Joy in glitter–that was a challenge & a mess-hah!) to the cornices with the pom poms to accessories to match, I’d say Mary Beth did very well & enjoyed every bit of it. And, well…as for Stevey–she LOVES it!
Oh, and…had to add the **bling** around the mirror in the bathroom–isn’t it cute? (some of the largest gems I’ve ever worked with!)
A room fit for a princess
Last week Thursday evening a local gourmet cupcake establishment in Franklin called Naticakes held an in-store auction with part of the proceeds going to benefit a children’s playground for Maria’s Big House of Hope. Along with cupcake samples they had an incredible display of items from art, jewelry, gift certificates…even a free week at a beach home!! What a great idea to have an auction like this! I have to admit Jordyn and I did have to stop in and have a not-so-healthy dinner I mean, come ON…gotta support the local cause, right?
…needless to say, strawberry cupcakes with strawberry icing and the tiny sprinkles were her fav!
So, if you’re in the mood for a stellar cupcake…just sayin’… (yes, we also had a “to go” box!!)

I’m painting set pieces to Will’s drumming. Getting ready for tomorrow night’s CINDERELLA event at Allen Arena (www.ShowHope.org). I’ve been over hearing some of the rehearsals…and…all I can say is…WOW! This will be a show like no other.
