Steven Curtis Chapman in Houston's mission control speaks to American astronauts, Ronnie Garan and Mike Fossum aboard the International Space Station on Aug 9th, the release date of his re:creation album.

    This is really awesome! Wow! Very cool to know that your music is being played in space. It's also really cool to know that our astronauts are believers as well.

    This is so great! You have always been my favorite artist since I was 15 (I'm 28 now). My life's goal and dream is to be an astronaut and you better believe your music will be going up there with me. It already helps me get through the rough work days at Kennedy Space Center. God is so amazing and He has blessed you in so many ways.

    I'm so proud to know you _ you did "launch" 2 of your albums with my team in NYC back in the early 90's and we were so proud to be the first to have you on National TV. We knew God was at work then and now to see you and HIS work is so amazing! Thank you for being YOU and for staying the course....it took it to NASA and Outerspace!!!!! But of course, God knew this ...just needed the faithful man like YOU and YOUR team to make it happen :)

    How cool! I know Steven must have been such a blessing to them - what a wonder to be able to see the beauty of God's Creation and have the ability to listen to Christ-honoring lyrics while working. Way to go SCC!
