In honor of Steven's 25 years of making music, he is doing a new video series featuring 25 of your favorite hits and the stories behind them. Here he tells the story behind his hit song "More To This Life" and then treats you to a special acoustic performance of the song!

Thanks SCC for decades of meaningful songs that reach into the depths of who we are as people and Christians.
This song in particular rings true whenever I need to evaluate my life spiritually and refocus on what's most important: giving oneself whole-heartedly in service to our Lord and loving others to the fullest capacity.
Your life and ministry have served as a bedrock to my Christian growth for many years and for that you will always have a fan in me! Thanks again for giving of yourself to this most sacred calling. Blessings

As so many have done before me, this is the song set to play at my funeral. SCC came into my life when I was having panic attacks over the illnesses of two loved ones. His song, "Sometimes He Comes in the Clouds" came over the radio while I was having a panic attack on the expressway. I didn't know who the singer was then, but when I became a fan after the Signs of Life album came out, I bought his earlier stuff and there it was. SCC's music has become the very foundation of my life. I am ever so grateful for it, and ever so humbled. I see the Clouds were reflected once again in Maria's Home for Special Children, making a full circle of the song's origin. Blessings to you SCC and MaryBeth, for all you give.
