This song really hits home. My husband and I have been together for over 8 years and married for a little over 7 years. My husband is Active Duty Army and has been for 15 years now. Wherever he gets stationed is where I go, no matter what. And even with him being in Afghanistan, where I cannot physically go with him, I am there with him, in his heart, and in spirit. While I pray through this deployment for God's guidance and protection for him, mentally, spiritually and physically. I will "go where ever he goes". Thank you for sharing this song. :)

I first heard this song--and loved it--years ago, before I was ever married, and before I had any reason to take those words personally. It was amazing to me now to hear the real reason why he wrote this song--his wife's depression--because I had just been thinking of it a few days ago, with that some meaning, as to my own marriage. Six years ago, my wife was diagnosed with major depressive disorder (since then, the diagnosis has been changed to Schizoaffective Disorder). I've felt for a long time that this song perfectly fits the life we have together--every day, we face that "wondering where you are". I want her to know that the promises I made ten years ago still stand, that I'm ot going anywhere, that where she goes, I go. still grateful for this song that says it better than I can.
@missniki1: I know what you mean; in 2004, the same song you mentioned was the one we played at the funeral for our firstborn son--which, incidentally, was the trigger for my wife's condition, or so we believe. You have our sympathy.

What a sweet song. I love it, it sounds even better now. The simple acoustic really enhances the words. Not only are you singing for your wife but, also for God. Please don't ever stop recording and writing music! I look forward to these 25 SCC 25.

No words can express my appreciation of your Faithfulness to our Lord and the deep connection I find with each of your songs. I have worshiped the Lord through your music for many years now. Your music was song at my wedding 9 years ago and about a year ago I held my infant son in my arms after he passed away and sang "With Hope" to him before my husband gave his little body back to the nurses. He was perfect in every way. Your song was my testimony for those days, and still is. What amazing Peace God has given me through Music. Our God is Faithful, He carries us through times that we cannot fathom and He brings Joy and Peace overflowing everyday. I have learned that we may not understand or like God's Plan, but we Trust it and we hold tight to Him to carry us through it. I want to say Thank you for being a Man after God's own heart! I know you have heard this many times, but God has used you and your music to strengthen me and allow me to Praise as I walk with the Lord.
With much love... In Him, Niki S
